Ron Yarwood receives Lawyer of the Year award from the Mahoning County Bar Association.

Ron Yarwood was one of three recipients of the Lawyer of the Year Award for 2008-2009.  James Gentile, Esq. and Thomas Zena, Esq. also received the award.

The firm has lost two of the founding members.

Harry Frederick and Joseph Vouros were founding members of the firm that began as Brennan, Frederick, Vouros & Black.  Both men dedicated their entire career taking cases that other lawyers were not willing to accept.  They set excellent examples for younger lawyers within the firm and within the legal community.

We are pleased to announce that Edward (Eddie) Czopur has joined the firm as an associate.  Eddie is a second generation lawyer.  He graduated from the University of Akron Law School.  During his time in law school, Eddie clerked for the Honorable R. Scott Krichbaum in the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas.

Congratulations on her retirement!  Karen retires from the firm.

Karen has retired from the firm.  Karen began working as a legal secretary for Ron when he first started his practice.  She continued to work for him when he joined the firm as a member.  She worked at the Sebring Office for ten years after retiring from the automotive industry.  She will be missed; however, we wish her a fun-filled and exciting future.
